Many more people in Taiwan than back home fly kites. In addition to the kind you just try to get higher and higher they also have these acrobatic kites.

There are two wires that attach to the ends of the wings. Then, the flyer can pull on the wires to make the kite swoop and dance. When two people get in on the act they will each have a kite and the following will try to match the manoveurs of the leaders.

It was incredible to watch, but also incredibly difficult to photograph well.
