Gei Wo is kind of like "Gimmee" in Chinese -not as rude, although many things in Chinese, if just directly translated, sound more direct and rude than they really are.

These monkeys were gathered around this man, begging for the pieces of guava he was handing out. He had a stick to chase them away when they started getting too aggressive.
