Apparently, these miniature deer once populated the forests of Green Island. Now, they just exist as sad housepets of the islanders. This cute, tiny creature was teathered by a short chain outside a place selling Chinese medicine.

Unlike dogs, deer offer little affection towards humans. I see no reason for keeping one chained up, like this.
