The rural-urban split is less obvious in Taiwan than in Canada. Many people keep chickens and other small farm animals, in the city.

It's not easy photographing chickens. They are very skitterish. It didn't help that a huge dog was barking at the top of its lungs the entire time I was trying to get a good shot of these chickens running loose on the railway tracks.

Replace the chickens with five guys in leather jackets, tight jeans and with long hair and this would be a good shot for a metal album cover.
