kids
To be a kid again. There really is no freedom like that of a child. Too bad they so infrequently stop to appreciate it, although maybe if they did that they wouldn't be as free. It is the absolute abandon that they allow themselves that makes them more free than you or I.
Teaching has made me more aware of how children experience the world, as well as how adults often preceive their experimentation at life. I try, try, try to remember what it was like to be a kid. That helps me calm down when their behaviour is driving me up the wall.
I'm far from a perfect teacher, but my love of their love of life, I think makes me appreciate them, the good, the bad and the ugly -and believe me, their freedom often leads to downright ugliness.
