While in the Philippines we were taken to a cockfight. It was an interesting experience.

I was able to get into the ring to photograph the action because prior to our arrival the fans had ripped down the fence.

I am currently living in Taiwan, while my family and friends are almost half a world away in Canada. I can sometimes be accused of not living the experience because of my compulsion to photograph everything around me.

However, it is through my photos that I can bring others into the life I am living. I can draw those distant in physical space closer with the stories I can tell through my images.
